The Hilarious Run

It was never a fun run…It was in fact hilarious.

Me and my housemates decided to join the 1st Philippine Independence Day Half Marathon and challenged the 5k run.

We are all first-time runners. It means, we don’t have any idea what’s gonna happen during the race. And to jog is all that matters to us. What an excuse! Hahaha. Well, what happened to us this morning was really funny. We were actually late. On our way to Fort Bonifacio, we got stocked in the traffic. That’s because the race had already started. Nakakahiya bumababa sa taxi. Pero since sayang naman, if we’ll just park ourselves on the seats and watch the runners passing by, ayun, bumaba kami and we joined them.

It was late when we realized that we were on the track of the 10k and 21k. Tawa nalang kami ng tawa. Sabi ko, we will pin our numbers once we reach the turning point. Kaso, we noticed na yung mga numbers nila ay blue and yellow—we don’t find any red. Sooo, nagjog nalang kami without the numbers. Haha. Mahahalata na nawawala kami.

While everybody was at their momentum, we, on the other hand, shamefully took the following shots. Haha.

We did not finish the race. We ended at the last kilometer before the finish line. But based on our estimates, we ran more than 5 kilometers. Di pa rin kami lugi. haha.

Ganun talaga pag first timers! haha. Mabuhay ang Kalayaan ng Pilipinas!
